Thank you for the update on your music and plan to be back in Maui October 2008 for an Island Bike/camp ride. As I did San Diego to San Francisco in four leasure weeks. Then San Francisco to Las Vegas in six weeks on a Cannondale 24 speed bicycle. I wish to do all five Hawaiian Islands one each summer after I do Maui. My dad now in heaven was with the 36th Infantry Division in WWII and fought next to and with the famed 442nd of Hawaii so I feel like I have an extended family in Hawaii now that mom and dad are gone.

Truly awesome, Michael. I was tickled to see someone I had just met featured on the cover and in a wonderful article. I hope I get to hear you play many more times. Welcome to Maui, Bruddah.
Hi, Michael Kollwitz,
What a nice-looking blog, and this is really some great Chapman Stick music. As you know, I’m partial to the Megatar, but I still appreciate a job very well done on The Stick.
Michael,
We sure do miss you here in Sacramento. I bet Maui is so happy to have found some great friends & a new wave of music. Can’t wait until the next CD comes out to buy it for Jimmy. Best of luck to you & Christine. Mahalo
I heard you play 3 times in 2007 starting with Maui County Fair venue; I am looking forward to more in Sept & Oct 08. Did you ever meet Courtney Branch? He is an amature musician, lives in the same complex you do. Great website! I look forward to adding your Hawaiian album to the two I already have. K
