In his book, Michael weaves his story with the same skill, joy and passion that he displays in his music. “Stick With It” is a book of peaks and valleys. A book of challenges, triumphs and humor. It’s a tale of his musical journey and his life along with a few “holy cow!” moments tossed in as well (I’m not giving anything away). This is wonderful insightful read. Inspiring, informative and just plain fun and interesting. I have read over 70 plus books over the last two years, and this is in my top ten favorites. I got lost in a good way to the world of the Chapman stick. its direct, incisive and stays on point to Michael Kollwitz’s world and his travels and remarkable journey. So many times books get lost in many different directions, you lose focus, I encountered some reads that were that way, while they were good, you lose interest and get bored. Not so with Michael Kollwitz’s stick with it story. its fascinating and without question sublime 👌 you will be illuminated and happy after you read this history of Emmett Chapman’s stick. Whole-heartedly recommend.
